A Prime Position on Crete's North Coast
Located in Amoudara, in the Gazi area of Heraklion, the resort sits directly on a long stretch of golden sand. Close enough to Heraklion for an easy evening in the city, yet far enough away to feel like a genuine beach retreat.
- Heraklion Airport: approximately 8 km, around 15 minutes by car or taxi.
- City centre & port: approximately 15–20 minutes by car, with regular public buses nearby.
- Knossos Palace: roughly 25 minutes by car.
- By car: easy access via the national road, with on-site guest parking.

Apollonia Resort & Spa offers 336 rooms and suites, from classic garden-view doubles to family-friendly suites and rooms overlooking the private beach.
A first wave of rooms has already been refreshed with a calm coastal palette, soft blues, natural woods and warm textures, with the remaining room categories planned for full renovation in 2027.
Every room includes air conditioning, a private balcony or terrace, a safe, minibar or refrigerator, and daily housekeeping.
